Tracing the roots — Yekaterinoslav
Born in Yekaterinoslav (Russian Empire) in 1895, Stroukoff emigrated to the United States after the Revolution and built a career as an aviation pioneer. His Chase Aircraft Company produced military transport aircraft that served in every American military engagement from Korea to Vietnam — a Russian immigrant's contribution to American military aviation.
